Volleyball: Second win in a row for J&K | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 27: Jammu and Kashmir today registered its second consecutive win to consolidate their position in the ongoing 18th Mini National Volleyball Championship underway at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. According to the reports reaching here, in today's second pool match, J&K trounced Orissa in straight sets to register second win in a row. Likewise yesterday, Saqlain Tariq, Vishal Verma, Akshay Kumar and Sanjeev played superb game guiding the side to an impressive win. The score: 25-14, 25-18, 25-18. Now, in the third league tie, J&K shall take on the defending champion, Tamil Nadu tomorrow, followed by the fourth and final pool game against Madhya Pradesh on June 29. As per the officials accompanying the team, J&K needs a win out of its two outings to qualify for the knock-out stages of quarterfinals.
