Udhampur, June 27 : Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA, Udhampur, paid tributes to the great saint and social reformer Sant Kabir on his 612th Jayanti Samroh at Kabir mandir (Baryal), Udhampur organised by Sant Kabir Sabha, Udhampur unit. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mankotia said that people should follow the righteous path of love tolerance and brotherhood preached by great saint. Mankotia also distubuted prizes among the meritorious student of the community.
Later, Mr. Mankotia directed the Assistant Commissioner Development, Udham-pur for early completion of on going work of bridge leading to Kabir Mandir for which Rs. 5.00 lakh is already released. Mr, Mankotia also ammo-unced Rs. 10 lacs for the construction of community hall at Baryal . Others who were present on the occasion are Ved Parkash Chairman, Shankar Dass President, Ram Lal Bhagat Gen. Sectt. Thakur Dass President Guru Ravi Dass Sabha. |
