Residents of Reasi Panchayats demand essential services | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, June 27: Residents of Panchayat Kundra, Bhabber, Tanda, Upper Pai, Lower Pai and Panchayat Sirla village Panada, Damaldi and Najadi met under the chairmanship of Mohammad Yaseen to deliberate on various issues concerning their respective areas. The villagers demanded a SRTC bus service between Jammu and Dera Bhabber via Ambgharota/Rabta at 4 PM which would return from Dera Bhabber to Jammu via Ambgharota/Rabta the next day at 6 AM. This convenience was required for office going employees and students of the area... The residents demanded upgrading of high school to higher secondary level at Rabta and construction of its fencing wall. Children from financially weaker sections were unable to go to Reasi for further studies at the Higher Secondary School. People asked for a computer lab also in the school for the benefit of students Four villages namely Panada, Moda Damaldi, Moda Najadi/Danjakote Anji in Panchayat Sirla, don't have either water or electricity. They demanded these civic facilities. A road should be upgraded from Sulla, Reasi to Sirla via Suketar. The residents conveyed these demands to the State Government/concerned ML As and ex- MLAs of District Reasi as well as Social Organization. |
