| One killed another injured in road accident | | |

UDHAMPUR, June 27: A pillion rider was killed while another person was injured in a motorcycle accident at Phalata on Jammu -Srinagar National Highway today.
According to reports the deceased pillion rider has been identified as Sonika Verma daughter of Ramesh Kumar Verma, resident of Omala Udhampur.
Report said that the brother and sister were returning to home from Jammu when their motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AD/650 skid off from road near Phalata with the result that the sister was killed on spot while her brother was critically injured .
After a post-mortem examination t district hospital, the dead body was handed over to the relatives. The critically injured Arun son of Ramesh Kumar is undergoing treatment at Udhampur hospital and his condition is stated to be out of danger.
