Burglary case worked out

JAMMU, June 27: Janipur police solved a burglary case and recovered stolen property worth lakhs. Addressing media persons SP City Randeep Singh said that few days ago one person namely Chaman Lal resident of Janipur lodged a complaint with the police station Janipur alleging there in that some thieves decamped with gold ornaments from his residence. He further alleged that nobody was in the house when the theft occurred.
Accordingly a police team led by SHO Janipur Rajinder Bhardwaj was constituted and during a course of investigation police arrested one suspect namely Sunny son of Shamsher Singh resident of Shant Nagar, Janipur and during his interrogation he broke down and confessed his crime. Police also recovered stolen gold items including one pair of Jumka, four gold rings, four ear rings, one mangal sooter and one locket from his possession.
