| Jawan electrocuted at Brigadier's residence | | |

JAMMU, June 27: An army jawan got electrocuted at the residence of a Brigadier near Jammu University campus here today.
The deceased identified as Amar Kumar Mandal resident of Bihar of Mechanical wing was having water from the water cooler installed at the residence of Brigadier VK Verma when he received electrical shock.
Police sources said that as soon as the jawan pushed the water tap of the cooler, he received fatal electrical shock which resulted into his on the spot death. A case under section 174 Cr PC has been registered in this connection at the Nehru Market police post and body was rushed to GMC hospital for postmortem.
