Two held with bhuki, fake school stamps | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT RAJOURI, June 27: Two youth were today held by police at Darhal near here along with bhuki while they were going to supply it to a kingpin. While 3 kg bhuki was recovered from the two youth, 19 kg of it and fake stamps of a private school were recovered from the kingpin's house at Darhal, police sources said. Sources said selection grade constable (SGC) Zaffar Khan intercepted a vehicle (JK02E/7849) at Darhal and held Muzamil Hussain, son of Mohammad Amin and Mohammad Akram, son of Alam Din, both residents of Saj, Thanamandi. During their interrogation, police came to know that they were going to supply the consignment to Papu, son of Mohammad Akram, of Darhal. At their instance, police raided Papu's residence and recovered from there 19 kg bhuki and three rubber stamps of Sher-e-Kashmir Model Higher Secondary School, Darhal, the sources added. Papu, however, could not be arrested. Sources said a hunt was on to nab him. The school administration said the stamps were fake and did not belong to them. When contacted, Darhal police station SHO, Inspector Zakir Shaheen Mirza said the whole racket could be busted only due to the alertness of SGC Zaffar Khan. The SHO said the accused were booked under sections 21 and 22 of NDPS Act and sections 67, 68 and 420 of RPC.
