| Soz calls on CM, discuss political issues | | |

SRINAGAR, June 27: Prof. Saif-ud-Din Soz , President Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee called on the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah here today. The two leaders discussed various political and developmental issues in an hour long meeting.
Prof. Soz reiterated Congress party's commitment to strengthen the coalition and expressed full faith and confidence in the coalition Government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. The Chief Minister conveyed his gratitude to the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh for the support being extended by the Union Government for the development of the state. The two leaders expressed confidence that the coalition government in its tenure of six years will take the state to new heights of development and usher an era of peace and tranquility.
