HC restrains respondents from filling-up post of anganwari worker | | | early times report Jammu, June 29: In a petition filed by Zaib-ul Nisa, Vacation Judge, Jammu Wing, Justice JP Singh issued notice to state of Jammu & Kashmir through Secretary Ministry of Social Welfare, CDPO, ICDS Project Rajouri and Programme officer ICDS Rajouri and after hearing Adv Rajesh Kohli, ordered that in the meanwhile, available vacancy of anganwari worker at Anganwari Center Malyar Mohalla shall not be filled-up till next date and furthered ordered that this petition be listed in the third week of July. In the petition it has been submitted that after issuing an earlier advertisement notice, the District Social Welfare Officer, Rajouri issued re-advertisement notice dated February 22, 2010 inviting applications from the eligible female candidates for engagement as anganwari workers for various anganwari centers in various wards of various blocks of district Rajouri. The petitioner also applied in pursuance to the said re-advertisement notice and after being found eligible and after conducting interview on March 30, 2010, the CDPO ICDS Project Rajouri issued provisional select-list where the name of the petitioner also figures at serial No 5. However, the petitioner has till date not been issued any appointment order in her favour nor any work as Anganwari Worker as is being allotted to all the other selected candidates except the petitioners. ---JNF
