| PSC asked to conduct interviews of petitioners for posts of lecturers | | | early times report
Jammu, June 29: Vacation Judge, Jammu Wing Justice JP Singh in a petition filed by Rajani Kumari, has directed J&K Public Service Commission to conduct the interview of the petitioners for the posts of lecturer (10+2) in the discipline of Information Technology, after hearing Adv Narinder K Attri appearing for the petitioner issued notice to the respondents and directed Registry to list this petition in the second week of July, 2010.
In the petition, the petitioner had submitted that vide notification No7-PSC of 2009 dated March 9, 2009, the respondents have invited applications for the post of lecturer 10+2 in school education department for various disciplines. It was further submitted in the petition that the respondents have issued notification dated June 15, 2010, thereby have debarred the petitioner from participating in the selection process and changed the eligibility criteria during the selection process arbitrary without reserving any right for the same in the advertisement notification and seeking direction to the respondents to allow the petitioner to sit in the interview. ---JNF
