KPs demand separate homland | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 29: 'Kashmiri Pandits (KP) have a role to protect its community interests, rights and to defend Jammu Kashmir as an integral part of India, which can never be re-conceited even for a movement with any move to un-settle this settled fact, said, Kundan Kashmiri President Kashmir Pandit conference at a press conference here today. He said Kashmiri Pandits who are the original unhabitants of the Valley will never abdicate their cardinal rights and responsibilities towards the land of the ancestors, and as such its every bodies responsibility to protect the homeland and handover it to future progeny. For this Kundan impressed upon the both centre and state government to create a separate 'Kashyap homeland', with free flow of Indian constitution needs serious considerations, which is a viable solution of all Kashmiri Pandits problems. He further such, that Indian polity seems to have succumbed to the pressure of foreign powers and separatists for not bothering early re-settlement of Kashmiri pandits as per their wishes and aspirations, the original inhabitants of the Kashmir Valley. The members of KPc in the conference demanded that the newly appointed employees posted in Valley particularly female employees be posted in safer zones of Jammu region and terms and conditions laid down through a certain agreement be withdrawn at the earliest.
