| Nippon Budo Sogo International India to open sub-centre in city | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 29: Nippon Budo Sogo International India, affiliated to Nihon-gu-ju-ryu-karate -do-kuyukai (Japan) is opening its sub-centre in Jammu on July 1.
Announcing this a press conference here today, Sameer Andotra, president and chief instructor of J&K said, "Akshay Kumar Bollywood action superstar is the chairperson of this Nippon Budo Sugo International India which is recognised by Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and Indian Olympic association (IOA) and its purpose is to uplift the soft target of the society, especially women and children".
Andotra said, "In sub centre here in Jammu, students in the age group of 4-18 years would be enrolled and would be trained for the upcoming national championship".
He said the organization licensed to teach 7 different arts from world bodies which included Gojuryu Karate from Japan Kuyukai, Aikijujutsu From Iriei Yasuhiro of Kokodo Aikijujutsu Renmei Japan, Kobudo from Kushinkai Bujutsu Renmei of Kanay Jinju Japan, Iaido/Kenjutsu of Kazo Inoue 10th Dan of Nichiryukai Mugairyu Japan, Jojutsu of Kushinkai Bujutsu Renmei of Kanay Jinju Japan, Kickboxing under World Association of Kickboxing Organizations WAKO Italy and Israeli Science of Military Self Defence Krav Maga under National Krav Maga Federation Israel.
Andotra said Nippon Budo Sogo International India have 17 centres across world with more than 15,000 students.
