JKNPP reviews political scenario

JAMMU, June 29: An emergency working committee of the JKNPP met here today to take stock of the present political situation in the state.
Presided over by its working chairman Shri Harsh Dev Singh, MLA, the working committee of JKNPP was of the view that the coalition government of NC-Congress alliance headed by Shri Omar Abdullah has miserably failed on all fronts. The government could not deliver on the promises made to the people as well on development projects.
The working committee was of the view that situation had arisen to the level that there was total failure of the law and order machinery and political control of the government and this was a situation in which the Governor should invoke section 92 of the J&K Constitution and dismiss the present government and take control of the administration. .
Meanwhile, the working committee condemned the decision of the central government to raise prices of the petrol, diesel and LPG. They decided to agitate against the price rise at district level. The working committee also decided to enhance the party activities at grass root level to make it a vibrant party as representative of the farmers, workers, youth, and all other sections of the people.
They made an appeal to the people of the valley not to be swayed by vested interest and disturb the age old harmony in the state. Political Advisor to JKNPP, S. Daljit Singh, Sudershan Singh Jamwal and P.K. Ganju Vice-President, Yashpual Kundal MLA, Anita Thakur and H.C. Jalmeria Adv. General Secretaries, Syed Mohd. Rafiq Shah MLC State President young panthers, Faqir Nath Provincial President, Jagdev Singh Coordination Secretary.
