| Ravinder takes stock of development work | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SUNDERBANI, June 29: Member Legislative Council and PCC General Secretary and Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, conducted an extensive tour of Sunderbani and Nowshera areas and took stock of the various development activities especially the measures undertaken to deal with water scarcity in the area.
Sharma held interaction with officials of various departments and took stock of the various activities of different departments. He sought details about the steps taken to shift the veterinary hospital and poultry farm from the existing place in Sunderbani town, for handing over the same to the First Referral Unit (FRU) hospital, as fast process for expansion and upgradation. He was appraised that a suitable alternate site has been identified and the process of transfer of land shall be completed in near future. The special power supply line to the hospital would be set up soon.
Similarly he also sought the progress for setting up a hi-tech vegetable and fruit Mandi near Sunderbani town, as per instructions of Minister for Horticulture and Floriculture. The steps would be initiated for making available land for the same at the earliest from the places identified during the visit of the minister concerned.
