Impose Governor's rule in J&K: VHP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 30: Taking a serious note over present situation in Kashmir valley on the onset of Amarnath Yatra, State VHP demanded imposition of Governor Rule in Jammu and Kashmir. Talking to media persons here today, VHP State President Dr Ramakant Dubey said, "Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has failed to control the situation in Kashmir and his flase claims of providing fool proof security to yatris too are exposed as anti-national and anti-social elements targeted pilgrim vehicles and attacked on Shiv temple in Janglat Mandi, Anantnag. "Since Omar proved to be unsuccessful Chief Minister in J&K, failed to provide to control situation in Valley, their claim to provide foolproof security exposed, Coalition Govt has no right to continue in power", he maintained.. Dr Dubey was also critical for the lack-luster approach of Central Govt regarding Kashmir affairs who are always under the notion that they can bring peace in valley by offering lolly pops. He advised Home Minister Chidambaram not to come to valley otherwise trouble will shoot up and Amaranth Yatries would be in trouble. Meanwhile, he urged the central govt to immediately remove J&K CM from the chairmanship of Unified Command which was nothing than to tie hands of the security forces who are combating the militants in the state for the 20 years and appoint Governor as Chairman of unified command. He called upon Centre to shun minority community appeasement policy and book those who exploit the situation of Kashmir valley under NSA. VHP president warned that in case centre does not awake from the deep slumber, the situation is likely to further deteroriate for which onus will be theirs.
