Jammu, June 30: The all J&K SRTC volunteers retirement employees association in a meeting criticized the adamant behaviour of the J&K SRTC management towards the VRS employees for not clearing their dues as have been given in the VRS vide order No: 160 JKSRTC of 2010 dated 22.1.2010 vide Govt. order No. 218-F of 2007 dated 16.7.2007. He said management made a commitment with the VRS that all date have not been cleared. He said management played a great fraud with the VRS and spoil their careers and their families future also as the J&K SRTC management is forcibly given the VRS to 200-250 drivers and on the other hand recruiting fresh drivers and one more point here we want to highlight that while giving the VRS the management closed their eyes and did not consider any category neither they consider whether the staff is surplus or not as it comes to our knowledge while the SRTC recruited the fresh drivers and in this connection we request to the commissioner/secretary Transport to conduct a deep routed inquiry so that the erring official who are involved in this whole scale and accordingly be penalized who played with the careers of the employees and also ruined the careers of their children also.
