| MLA Pawar organizes seminar on empowerment of women | | |

Jammu, June 30: a day long seminar on empowerment of women was held at Hatti-Morh, Kathua by the congress MLA, Indu pawar here today. A large number of women attended the seminar and showed keen interest. In the seminar women's were educated to educate girl child and have no discrimination between boy and girl. Help deserving poor women and make herself sufficient to earn a respectable livelihood. The seminar is being held with help of the central Bank of India pawar thanked the bank management for their help for spreading of message for upliftment and empowerment of women and gave details of the various loan schemes of the Bank. She exhorted women folk to look towards the better performance of girls in all the exams of board and university every family should encourage their daughters to appear in competition like KAS, IAS, Doctors, Engineers and Educationists. Pawar conducted this months series of meetings and expressed that congress party is committed towards upliftment of society as a whole and women in particular to make our nation a strong. These are steps beyond the policy of reservation so that maximum number of women is benefited.
