| PPM appeals youth to postpone Pahari convention | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, July 1: Following tense situation in Kashmir Valley, Pahari Peoples Movement (PPM) - a sister concern organization of Jammu & Kashmir Pahari Cultural and Welfare Forum has appealed Youth Pahari leaders to postpone scheduled "Youth Pahari Convention" on July 10. The convention was likely to be attended by political personalities of the state. In a press statement issued here, PPM Chief Executive Shahbaz Khan has said that his forum hold emergency meeting at Rajouri in which Renowned Pahari leaders viz Mohammad Azam Shah and Vijay Kochhar beside Media Advisor to J&K Pahari Cultural and Welfare Forum Advocate Tazeem Dar participated. He said that following deliberations over the situation of the state, they feel it better to postpone Youth Convention. Shahbaz Khan said that the situation in Kashmir is tense and Pahari Youth must postpone its Youth Conference.
He said that the Conference was being organized by Youth wing of Pahari organization and the arrangements for the same were almost finalized.
