Govt putting existence of KPs in danger: Panun
7/1/2010 10:51:18 PM
early times report
JAMMU, July 1: Taking a serious note of the prevailing conditions in the Kashmir Valley, attack on temples, security forces and disruption in Amaranth Yatra, Panun Kashmir today organised a series of corner meetings at Purkhoo Migrant Camp Phase-4, Saraswati Vihar, Anuradha Puram, Muthi Migrant Camp Phase-1, Phase-2, and Paloura.
The meetings were held under under the leadership of its convener Dr. Agnishekhar who exhorted the people to see the game plan of the government of putting the existence of Kashmiri Pandits in danger. Agnishekhar said that the security situation in the valley was going from bad to worse in connivance with the polity of Kashmir and inapt handling of situation by GOI. The mentors of separatists across the border and in the state have set in motion, the process of weakening the territorial and constitutional link between Jammu & Kashmir and state of India. Panun Kashmir appealed to the people of India to wake up at this crucial juncture to prevent the Second Partition of India. He said it was unfortunate that the present day dispensation in New Delhi was going to the extent of even negating the views of its own Army Chief on "AFSPA". The organised attack on the security forces by brigade of stone pelters, politicians and Human Right groups was a sinister design to paint security forces in black, so as to make way for demilitarization of the state as propounded by separatists. Admission of Lashkar's involvement in present turmoil by the Home Minister of India points to the support LeT enjoys both on ideological and local operational front, he added.
The disruptions in the Amarnath Yatra, issuing fatwa to decrease time duration of the yatra and voicing baseless environmental concerns was an attempt by separatists and PDP to further their communal secessionist agenda.
