| NSUI opens counselling counter at JU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU , July 1:NSUI, University of Jammu unit today opened an information-cum-counseling counter to help new admission seekers.
The counter was formally inaugurated by Professor Rajiv Gupta, Director colleges development and Dr. Rajiv Kalra, assistant director academic top college, JU. Speaking on the occasion Rajveer Singh Manhas, JU NSUI President said, "Like previous years, this year also the NSUI has opened an information counter for the new admission seekers." NSUI office bearers shall be present at the counter till last date of admissions and answer the queries of new admission seekers.
Arjun Singh Pathania, state general secretary NSUI said that NSUI has been successfully fulfilling communication gaps between JU administration and upcoming students. He further said that he has initiated under the direction of state president Ab Rashid Choudhary. Professor Rajiv Gupta complemented the NSUI cadre for doing such student friendly activities and wished them best of luck for their further activities.
Others present on the occasion include Sr vice president JU Amit Manhas, Fairoz Khan, JU vice presidents G S Thakur, Manan Kohli, Manu Magotra, Jammu District vice president Aditya Badyal, Anshul Katal, Varun Dev Singh, Rohit Vadan, Sunil Sharma, Sonu Dubey, Pinkel Singh and Sukhvinder Singh.
