Stop violence in Valley: BVS
7/1/2010 10:54:38 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 1: Bharti Vidharthi Sena, youth wing of Shiv Sena, today the separatists and other communal forces of Kashmir to stop violence against innocent people and security forces.
Addressing a press conference, Vikrant Sharma, State President along with other office-bearers said that it was conspiracy to desist centuries old tradition of Hindu pilgrims to visit the holy shrine.
The government, separatists and other vested interests adopt every possible formula to interrupt the holy Yatra. Sharma said the government of India should ensure foolproof security to the visiting pilgrims even if a single Hindu pilgrim is hurt, then Hindus of the country will teach the communal forces of Kashmir an unforgettable lesson.
``We have come across that Jammu based employees there in valley are being manhandled by the agents of Hurriyat and other likewise groups.
The employees are asked to vacate the valley or else ready to face the consequences.
This is total collapse of the state government, he said. BVS also demanded resignation of Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram as he too has proved as a failed home minister, during his term.
He questioned that NC-Congress coalition should clarify that who is the Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah or Mr. Geelani or Mr. Yasin Malik or Mr. Maulvi Umar Farooq . Because as far as the people of the state are concerned they do not see any strict action by Mr. Omar Abdullah. Those politicians of Kashmir who orchestrate repealing and gradual withdrawal of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA), including Chief Minister himself remain under the umbrella of Z++ security.
Now even the chief of army has said that the demand of repeal of AFSPA is politically motivated. Meanwhile, they urged the government of India to give free hands to Army to bring situation under control in violence hit areas of Kashmir. Later, they gave an ultimatum to the government till July 4 to bring situation under control and threatened to proceed towards Kashmir to maintain law and order situation and also punish communal forces.
Others who participated in the press conference are, Sh. Pawan Sharma State Vice President, Sh. Rajesh Sharma, State General Secretary, , Sh. Rakesh Gupta, District President (Jammu Distt.), Sh. Suresh Kumar, District Vice-president (Jammu Distt.), Sh. Rakesh Sharma, City President (Jammu City), Sh. Deepak Gupta, City Vice-President (Jammu City) and Sh. Suresh Gupta Secretary, City Unit (Jammu City).
