| Thathi villagers begin fast-unto-death | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 1: The postponed programme of fast-unto-death by Thathi villagers restarted today with hundred of men - women took to streets as despite the assurance of Tehsildar Hiranagar nobody visited to see the condition of road for which they have been demanding for the last 63 years. The work of road started 8 years back but now rains and other factors has put the people in trouble, particularly during night hours as the main road is in deplorable condition . The fast was started by B L Kandly , Ram Paul Sharma, Jarnail Singh, Balwinder Singh. I D khajuria, State President , Joginder Singh , Kuldeep Singh, Ram Lal Sharma, Suresh Kumar Sharma, Smt. Santosh Khajuria President Mahila Adhikar Sangathan addressed the gathering who demanded immediate completion of road from Mandir Mahadev to Thathi without any delay .
