| District Congress Committee reviews current situation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 1:A meeting of District Congress Committee Jammu Urban was held under the chairmanship of Om Chopra, ex-MLA and President DCC to review overall political scenario of the state. Members present in the meeting unanimously appealed to the people of Jammu to maintain communal harmony, peace and tranquility. They alerted the public against some elements in the society indulging in mischief and trying to disturb peace and cordiality among various sections of society. DCC urged upon the government to ensure smooth Shri Amarnath Yatra in the larger interests of people coming from remote corners of the country. Prominent among the participants were D.S.Langeh, S. Kirtan Singh, B.B. Gupta, Inder Sehgal, B.S. Mastana, Kulbushan Sharma, Hussain Bhakash, Mansa Ram, Mian Nazir Ahmed, Vijinder Khajuria, Camres David, Kamal Chowdhary, S.R.Sudhir, Com. Jaswant Singh, Bharat Gandhi-President DCC Ramban and others.
