| Soz calls on Antony | | | JAMMU: Former Union minister and President, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Prof. Saifuddin Soz called on the Defence Minister, A.K. Antony last evening.
The Defence Minister reiterated his consistent stand that there should be zero tolerance for human rights violations. The Defence Minister informed Prof. Soz that he had made his perception on human rights known to Armed forces and there was no question of any compromise on that basic principle of governance.
When reminded about the Machil fake encounter and similar other incidents, the Defence Minister assured Prof. Soz that the enquires regarding alleged innocent killings would certainly move to their logical conclusions. He also said that the people found guilty of committing crimes would not be spared whosoever they might be.
