Surprise check at ETT exams | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, July 8 : A team led by Assistant commissioner (Revenue) Dr.Vikas Gupta alongwith Deputy Chief education officer Manohar lal kathua ,DPO and Principal of schools paid a surprise inspection of ETT schools where exam were conducted . The team inspected Kawa ETT Zorawar Singh College, Nav Bharat College, Surya college.Other team headed by tehsildar along with naib tehsildar officers of education department also inspected DAV school, Kartar public school and Sh.Mata Vaishno Devi ETT school. The inspecting team caught 5 students of Nav Bharat ETT and 8 cases from Kartar public school who were allegedly involved in copying in the exams. Later, cases were prepared against these students. Different teams were constituted by District Development Commissioner, Kathua Sh. Sanjeev verma (IAS) for inspection of ETT exam so that no unfair means can be used by the students. The inspection teams also recommended to higher authority for change of supervisory staff in the entire centre as large scale mass copying was observed during inspection in some of the colleges. Besides instructions were also issued to superintendents and centre incharges to deploy at least one lady supervisor in the centre. Meanwhile, unofficial sources have confirmed that this drive against mass copying will continue further so that examinations are conducted in smooth manner. |
