| All round development demanded for Doda | | | early times report
DODA, July 8: Development Front Doda (DFD) staged a dharna and public meeting at old bus stand Doda here today to press for their unfulfilled demands of a University Campus, Administrative Division, High Court Bench, immediate construction of Ganpat Bridge and tunnels to connect Doda with the rest of the state and Kashmir via Doda -Dessa-Kapran, opening of Development Authority for Doda, Construction of District Jail and huts around Pul Doda for tourists, arrangement for boating and water sports, construction of separate Chest Disease Hospital, addition of accommodation to Degree College Doda and two Higher Secondary School buildings, Starting work on Polytechnic College Building, DIET building and making District Development Commissioner's Office a multi-storey building to provide accommodation for other offices. General Secretary of the Front Mohammad Ashraf Zargar stressed upon the need of peace and development process. The members of DFD condemned the innocent killings in Kashmir Valley during the ongoing protests. |
