4 more Amarnath pilgrims killed, toll 8

JAMMU: Four more pilgrims from Gujarat, Kolkata and Himachal Pradesh (HP) died of heart attack at separate places en route to the holy cave shrine of Baba Amarnath in the south Kashmir Himalayas today.
With this, the total number of pilgrims who have died since the commencement of the yatra from both Baltal and Pahalgam routes from July I touches eight.
Official sources said four yatris, including a woman pilgrim, died of cardic arrest.G M Bhai, son of Bichoo Bhai, of HP died at Baltal while Chander Kanth Patel, son of Prabhu Dass Patel, of Gujarat died at Zojibal on the holy cave route.Sunil choudhary, son of R C Choudhary, of Kolkata and Kishorei Behanjim wife of Rajnath, of Baroda also passed away at Baltal, the sources added.
