JAMMU, July 9: To carry out stringing work of 220 KV D/C Barn-Bishnah-Hiranagar transmission line between span No.232-233, the power supply to Kootah, Chann Khatrian, Chann Morian, Chapper and Gurah Mundian etc shall remain affected on July 12, 13 & 14 from 0700 hours to 1400 hours. Meanwhile to carry out routine preventive maintenance work, replacement of damaged CT of 132 KV bus coupler bay and carrying out winding resistance test of one unit of 400 MVA transformer bank of Gladni grid station, the shutdown in part of Jammu city, Karan Nagar, Residency Road, Gandhinagar, Trikutanagar, Sainik Colony, Bathandi, Transport Nagar, Greater Kailash, Seore, Sidhra, Industrial area Gangyal, Akhnoor area and twin districts of Poonch and Rajouri shall remain affected on July 11 from 0600 hours to 1000 hours. To carry out routine/preventive maintenance of 132 KV & 33 KV main and reserve busbar including isolators, breakers etc of Jajjar Kotli Grid Station, the shutdown to 33 KV feeders Reasi, Phalata, Jindrah, Katra and Bhawan, Salal I & II and SMVDU shall remain affected on July 11 from 0700 hours to 1200 hours. According to Chief Engineer, Electric Maintenance & RE Wing, Jammu, the power shut down is subject to fair weather conditions.
