| FC reviews progress on land acquisition cases | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 9: A meeting of Collectors of Jammu division was held today to review the progress of land acquisition cases in Jammu division.
Financial Commissioner Revenue Pramod Jain presided over the meeting. Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr Pawan Kotwal, all Collectors of Jammu Division attended the meeting.
Various issues related to Land Acquisition under National Highway/Railways, and cases in which the draft and final award have been issued were addressed to. Scheme wise details, amount of compensation received/disposed were also discussed in the meeting.
Financial Commissioner exhorted upon the officers to ensure proper attendance in their respective offices and work with dedication and honesty.
He also laid emphasis on regular field visit of the senior officers to monitor the functioning of the field functionaries of the department. In order to expedite the working of the Revenue Department Financial Commissioner announced 1 percent incidental/ administrative charges.
Dr Pawan Kotwal while speaking on the occasion exhorted upon the officers to ensure regularity and punctuality in their respective areas. He directed that only such cases be furnished to the higher authorities which are complete in all respect
