| Car lifter arrested | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 9: A youth was today arrested by police from Jhajjar Kotli near here along with a Tata Safari which had been stolen by him from UNO Lane at Talab Tillo.
He was identified as Omar Mushtaq Ganai, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Ganai of Pulwama, Kashmir.
Police sources said he stole Tata Safari (JK02AD/8282) from UNO Lane at Talab Tillo here and then went underground.
When the Safari owner Sukhjinder Singh lodged a complaint with police, all the police checking points were alerted, the sources added.
However, acting on a tip-off, police intercepted the vehicle at Jhajjar Kotli and arrested Mushtaq. The vehicle was also seized.
A case stands registered against him at the Nowabad police station.
