| Old Age home celebrate founder birth anniversary | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July9: 'Home for the Aged & Infirm' celebrated the 110th birth anniversary of its founder late Ram Nath Prabhakar and distributed clothes and cash among the inmates, here today. Vice president of the organisation, former Head of Department (HoD) in Jammu University, Prof Dr Vidya Nath Gupta paid tributes to Prabhakar who retired as head master and devoted his life in service of the poor and aged destitutes and infirm members of the society. It was also informed the Institute was established on June 8, 1964 with mere one room on a piece of land obtained on lease from Shri Ved Mandir Committee and the home registered as a society on February 20, 1965.
