| Deputation of ABVP call on Director Schools | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 9: A deputation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) led by its state joint secretary Ajeet Singh Keterwal called on director school education Zahida Khan and apprised her about the problems being faced by the students of district Ramban. Keterwal urged the director that the hostel constituted at Ukheral he made functional by giving permission to students to live in. He said transport facility for the students coming from different areas such as 'Senabhatis Pingloga, Alionbass, Maligam, Pogal, Ramsu etc. they have to cover long distance of 30 km daily.
He also demanded inclusion of New subjects like, history, Psychology, Home Science, commerce, Music, NCC& NSS and added two each posts of master of teacher grade be sanctioned and vacant posts of lectures should be filled. Basic structure of education should be Amended in the district and up gradation of High School Senabhati H.S Ramsu, and H.S Pogal to Higher Secondary (10+2) level.
The director give a patience hearing to the delegation and assured the immediate redressal of the demands being raised by those who include in the deputation were Kewal Singh, Maan Singh, Omesh Singh, Varun Kumar Nagra.
