UDHAMPUR, July 9 : Lt Gen BS Jaswal, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, GOC-in-C Northern Command has very kindly sanctioned Rs. 4, 50,827/-(Rupees four lac fifty thousand eight hundred twenty seven only) towards financial assistance to improve the overall living condition and repair, renovation, improvement and ambience of Sainik Sarai, Udhampur and Welfare of Ex-Servicemen/War Widows/Widows. Two cheques for Rs 2,50,827/- and Rs 2,00,000/- issued in March and July 2010 respectively were personally handed over to Lt. Col. MS Jamwal, Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Udhampur at Northern Command HQ.
