| Nagar's floor mill raided | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 9: Police today raided the Kissan floor mill of Choudhary Nagar Singh alias Nago at Deili on the Narwal bypass road and seized four trucks and an oil tanker which had been focibly detained there by its supervisor. The raid was conducted following a complaint by Ishpal Singh, son of Jaswant Singh, of Nanak Nagar, who is owner of the detained trucks and oil tanker -- JK02F/8237, JK02AB/7775, JK02W/0752,JK02AB/9705 and JK02J/2575.
In the complaint, Ishpal alleged that his vehicles had been forcibly detained by mill supervisor Gurvinder Singh. The latter is FCI contractor and partner of Nago. He alleged that Kissan floor mill had hired his trucks for loading and unloading purpose and when Nago got arrested in the Amandeep murder case, he was told by Gurvinder that his trucks were in Srinagar for unloading of floor bags and would be handed over to him soon.
Since Nago's arrest, he was getting the same answer from Gurvinder, Ishpal said.
Police sources said when Gurvinder refused to return the vehicles, Ishpal approached police. Acting on the complaint, police today raided the floor mill and seized the detained vehicles, the sources added. Gurvinder was absconding. Raids were being conducted to nab him.
