EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, July 10: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone, Ashok Gupta urged upon the civil society of Bhaderwah town to maintain communal harmony and amity so that anti-social elements could be pulled out from the society.
IGP Ashok Gupta said this while chairing a high level meeting of police officials and prominent citizens of Bhaderwah today.
The meet was organized to build up the inter community bonds among the different communities of the society.
IGP said that now when the situation has improved a lot in Jammu Region, some anti social elements with their self interest are trying to create communal wedge among the people of this province but we have to remain vigilant to scuttle their nefarious designs.
He said that the graph of terrorism has fallen substantially, which he termed as good news for the people belonging to far flung areas of Doda district adding that one of the positive signs is that youths here are now not willing to recruit themselves with militant organizations.
Senior police officials called upon the people not to fall prey to the rumors of anti-social and anti-national elements.
