Maintain peace, tranquility: JKHRW urges masses | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 10: Jammu and Kashmir Human Rights Watch (JKHRW) has appealed the masses of the state to maintain brotherhood and tranquility at all costs to thwart the nefarious designs of anti-national elements, who are hell bent upon disturbing the peaceful atmosphere. In a press statement issued here today, Chairman JKHRW BL Kapoor Kapoor said that in Jammu all communities have been living in harmony and have stood the acid tests to keep this sprit alive. Again in the recent past, few days back, rumours were floated about the damage caused to a mosque in Jammu but the Muslim community showed patience and fair judgement to visualise the fact that it is only the vested interests who want to disrupt peace and brotherhood. Kapoor further said that the present government headed by Omar Abdullah is doing all for the development of the state without any discrimination.Chief Minister has been able to manage huge funds from the central government to make the development works go on smoothly. Kapoor once again hailed the posture of the Muslim community in Jammu and appealed all the communities to keep the peace in the state at all costs so as to defeat the evil designs of the vested interests.
