| Budha Amarnath Yatra arrangements reviewed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
\POONCH, July 10: Suggestions were sought from prominent citizens of all religions and senior officers of District Administration Poonch in a joint meeting for successful conduct of ensuing Budha Amarnath Yatra, convened and presided over by District Development Commissioner, Poonch Mr. Kuldip Lal Khajuria, here today.
Budha Amarnath yatra would be carried on from 10th to 25th of August, 2010 for which foolproof security arrangements enroute from Rajouri to Poonch and place of venue at Mandi were discussed in threadbare.
Besides, arrangements of sanitation, accommodation, un-interrupted power and water supply, medicare, Ambulances, langers, transportations and parking of vehicles etc. Moreover, maintenance of cordial and fraternity relations among all sects of societies were also discussed so that message of living communal harmony and practical brotherhood be displayed. All the participants in one word declared that yatries are our respectable guests and irrespective of religion and region they be provided every possible help to facilitate in performing yatra in conducive atmosphere. It was unanimously agreed that "Peace Committees" be constituted at different places representing senior citizens of all religions to avoid any untoward incident or mischief, as precautionary measures.
