| Tube well work gets underway | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, July 10: MLA Udhampur Balwant Singh Mankotia got started the tube well work at Mian -Da- Bagh, here today.
While addressing the gathering on the occasion, Mankotia said that this is the first time that tube well work is started in Udhampur constituency and also first of its kind tube well of high technology (odax method) in Jammu Province.
He further said that about Rs 30 lakh will spent on this tube well and around two thousand families will be benefited with the completion of this project.
MLA said that a community hall will be constructed in village Baryal very soon for which Rs 10 lacs out of constituency development fund scheme shall be released.
He also announced Rs 2.50 lakh out of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the up-gradation of Baryal link road and two class rooms for middle school Baryal under SSA scheme to meet the deficiency of class rooms in said school.
Mankotia also said that very soon a new link road will be constructed from Cherry Sial to Village Baryal for which project has been prepared and submitted for funding.
