| JPPF discusses CU issue | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 11: Jammu Province People Forum (JPPF), an amalgam of more than 50 social, commercial and other organizations and a united voice of Dogras of Jammu province, conducted a meeting under the chairmanship of Prof Zahirudin , a prominent academician and leader of Muslim federation to discuss the issue of establishment of central university . In the meeting, it was unanimously resolved that the Centre was not serious about this burning issue and was unnecessarily delaying which ultimately was causing problems for the students who were planning to pursue their studies from this university and had wasted a precious year of the students. Meanwhile, they have decided to approach Mr Raman Bhalla and all other MLAs, MPs and Ministers to sort out this problem at the earliest. It was also pointed out in the meeting that elected members were not reacting to this issue and were mute spectators . Others who also spoke were Sh Pavitar Singh, ( Retd Judge), Kr Narayan Singh, President Rajput Sabha ,Er A.G.Kohli, Er M.S.Katoch, Prof Virender Gupta, Prof Dr N.S.Gupta, Sh Y.B.Sharma, President Chamber of Commerce, S.T.S.Reen, S Gajan Singh,Sh Inderjeet Khajuria,Sh Virender Jain, Sh Ramesh Arora, Sh Rajesh Kesari, Rajesh Chandan.
