Bazaz demands short spell governor rule

JAMMU, July 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum President Pandit Bhushan Bazaz has submitted a "confidential letter" to Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh urging for his immediate intervention to save Kashmir Valley from further disaster, deaths arid destruction caused by the unabated violence.
As per press release Bazaz has accused the government of being non-functional, inefficient and corrupt and advocated for the imposition of Governor's Rule so that alienation between administration and the people which had developed because of childish attitude of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is abridged with fresh approach by the next administration under the Governor. During his six days extensive study of the situation in the Valley, that no political party or individual is capable of taking over administration at this moment. He added that a short spell of governor rule may be utilized to work out an acceptable workable and viable combination and permutation for the formation of the next government in Jammu and Kashmir.
