| JDIFT students to participate in JD awards show | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 11: Fifteen students of JD Institute of Fashion Technology (JDIFT), Jammu are leaving today for Delhi to participate in JD annual design awards 2010.
The annual design awards is a grand fashion show that takes place at Delhi and is the most awaited event of the year for JD students.
It is the biggest opportunity for the students who have been given rigorous training of design and manufacturing to showcase their training and talent via their creations.
On the occasion of award ceremony, 18 garments designed by JD Institute students will be showcased by international models
Management and the faculty members have wished the students all the very best for their creations and have great hope that this year also the Jammu students will bring laurel to the state by winning an award at nation level JD annual awards.
Speaking on the occasion Maansi Gupta, centre director, said that JD Jammu is living up to its commitment of providing students with national level exposure and recognition as was promised to the students.
