| YSCC sails into semis of JKCA tournament | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, July 12: Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda trounced Bhaderwah Cricket Club-B (BCC) by 7 wickets and sailed into Semi-Final of the ongoing JKCA cricket tournament played as PG College ground Bhaderwah which was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA). Earlier BCC won the toss and elected to bat first to score a total of 127 runs after losing their wickets. Ashfaq and Mudassir were the highest scorers with 26 and 26 runs respectively. From YSCC Ashraf and Imtiaz Parray shared 3 wickets each. In reply YSCC managed to chase down the target in 18 overs. Nasir and Mohinder scored 38 and 37 runs respectively. From BCC, Rashid and Umar took 4 and 2 wickets respectively. Later Mohinder of YSCC Doda was adjudged as Man of the Match for his best all-round performance... Member JKCA District Doda and Manager YSCC Mehboob Kriapak were also present on the occasion and congratulated the YSCC Doda for their third consecutive victory. The match was officiated by Ashiq Shapoo, Kailash and Sarfaraz Magray.
