POONCH, July 12: Two Jammu and Kashmir policemen were today booked after an official rifle went missing from their quarter in border district of Poonch district. ''The policemen arrested have been identified as Anil Kumar Sharma and Ghulam Shah, deployed with SDM Mendhar M A Choudhary. They were booked after a rifle of one of them went missing from their quarter,'' police sources said Police said the policemen during questioning said the weapon has been stolen when they had gone to a hospital to see one of their relatives. ''We are investigating the matter while they have been booked under sections 457, 380 RPC,'' police said. |
