Fill up all vacancies of lecturers before opening of schools: Qureshi | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 12: The all J&K plus 2 lecturers' forum has strongly advocated for filling up of all the vacancies of lecturers before opening of schools after vacations. The demands for subjet experts in every Hr. sec. school were made by President of forum while addressing a delegation of lecturers after completion of their tenure in Ladakh region of the state. Qureshi while speaking on the occasion appreciated the dedication of lecturers performing their duties in Ladak region in a very difficult situation and demanded that the stay for transfers from Leh and Kargil districts should be one year instead of two years at present, besides the lists of transferees to Ladkah region should circulated at least six months earlier strictly in accordance with the norms fixed for such transfers. He also expressed his confidence that all the lecturers reported in the directorate form Ladakh region will be given suitable postings and assured that the matter for their proper adjustments will be taken up with director school education, Jammu Shortly. Qureshi expressed his satisfaction that with the posting of newly selected lecturers the institutions across the province have become functional even in far flung area and credit of this goes to director school education Zahida Khan who is very keen to equip Hr. Sec. Schools with the subject experts all around Jammu Province. He appealed the director education to issue the order of all the lecturers in different discipline presently awaiting their adjustments in directorate before re-opening of schools to ensure that class work is not suffered. Others who spoke on the occasion include D.P. Dutta Manmeet Bali, S. Gurcharan Singh, Charan Dass, N.S. Jamwal and Tersem Singh etc. |
