| Two vehicles stolen from Gandhi Nagar | | |

JAMMU, July 12: The 'efficiency' of Jammu police has once more come to fore as in a broad day light incident vehicle lifters struck at posh Gandhi Nagar locality and stole two vehicles here today.
In the first incident, a car belonging to one Brij Lal son of Lal Chand resident of Rampura mohalla was lifted.
In his complaint alleged, Brij alleged that he parked his car bearing registration number JK02P 2374 at Shastri Nagar and went for shopping. After fifteen minutes when he came he found his car missing.
In a similar incident, a scooter was lifted from Gole Market area. In a complaint lodged by Ramesh Kumar son of Raj Kumar resident of Nanak Nagar, the complainant alleged that he parked his scooter bearing registration number JK02S 6983 in Gole Market and when he came he found his scooter stolen.
Police have taken cognizance of the thefts and registered both the cases.
