| Flash flood claims two minors' lives | | |

JAMMU, July 12: The incessant rains for the last twenty hours have claimed lives of two minors at Chowki Chora in Aknoor tehsil as they were washed away in flash floods here today.
The deceased have been identified as Munish Kumar (15) son of Mohan Lal resident of Chowki Chora and Bodh Raj (13) resident of village Quoor.
According to sources, the boys were taking bath in a nullah at Chowki Chora when they were caught in flash floods. Family members when noticed that the children did not return home in the evening they started searching them and found their bodies floating in nullah. The matter, later, reported to the police. Police later handed over their bodies to the family members after postmortem.
