JMF threatens to hold Parliament chalo march | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 13: Accusing the State Government of step motherly treatment to Jammu province migrants by allegedly not disbursing migrant's relief, the Jammu Migrants' Front (JMF) has threatened to hold a Parliament Chalo March if the authorities do not provide them relief before August 3. Addressing media persons, Mohd Aslam Kohli, president, JMF criticized the Government for inaction on its part in providing relief to the migrants. He further said that the JMF members are continuously staging a dharna for the last three years in front of the Divisional Commissioner's Office at Jammu in support of their demand for grant of justice in the shape of relief benefits to the migrants of Jammu Province at par with the Kashmiri Pandit migrants, but the authorities are not paying any heed to their request and not interested in resolving their grievances. 'Since the coalition govt has been facing criticism on all fronts from various quarters and has totally failed to redress the grievances of the general public especially migrants of Jammu Province, we demand dismissal of present Government and imposition of Governor's rule in the State", he maintained. Kohli also said that various memorandums in this regard have been given to various political leaders of the coalition Government but all into vain as nothing concrete could come out.
