Omar visits Mazar-e-Shohda, pays tributes to Martyrs | Dr. Farooq, Speaker LA, Council of Ministers, various political leaders also pays tributes | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, July 13: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today visited the Mazar-e-Shohda at Naqshband Sahib here and laid wreaths over the graves of Martyrs of July 13, 1931. He also offered Fateh on the occasion. Paying tributes to the martyrs, Omar highlighted their sacrifices and said that they laid edifice for democracy, social justice and independence. Union Minister for New and Renewal Energy Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Speaker Legislative Assembly Mohammad Akbar Lone, Minister for Finance Abdul Rahim Rather, Minister for Rural Development Ali Mohammad Sagar, Minister for School Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir, Minister for PHE and Flood Control Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Minister for Medical Education R. S. Chib , Advisor to Chief Minister Mubarak Gul, Minister of State for Haj and Auqaf Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Member Parliament G.N. Rattanpuri, Director General of Police Kuldeep Khuda and Senior Civil and Police Officers were present on the occasion. They also offered 'Fateh' at the grave yard of Martyrs. On the occasion a contingent of J&K Police presented the guard of honour.
