| Dream Park in shambles, awaits face-lifting | | |

KATHUA, July 13: Even as department of floriculture makes tall claims of beautification of city, the Dream Park here is waiting for its proper development and infrastructure for the last so many years.
The park was established some years ago with a motive to beautify Kathua but the department of floriculture never seemed sincere to pursue the maintenance and the development of the park. The local residents alleged that due to official apathy the park is in shambles. "It is almost impossible for the people to visit park at night due to the non-functioning of installed DP lights" said Vishal Salgotra While Amit Singh rued that the park lacks proper hygiene as there is no toilet facility and even the canteen is non functional though it has been constructed adding that the 24 sitting benches are sanctioned for the park.
