| Super specialized services in Gandhi Nagar hospital | | |

JAMMU, July 13: In its tertiary care services and initialising many super specialised services, the Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu has started endocrinology clinic . Dr Vipan Gupta, M.D Medicine, DNB Endocrinology, recently posted in the hospital, would provide his services.
Meanwhile, a free sugar detection camp would be held in the OPD of the hospital along with advice and treatment from the endocrinologist Dr Vipan Gupta on July 14.
Oncology (cancer care) clinic which was was started recently in the hospital will be looked after by Dr Swarn Katoch M.D Radiotherapy who too has been posted in Govt Gandhinagar Hospital Jammu and has initiated treatment with chemotherapy and follow up as well as preventive oncology clinic. The oncology clinic would be functional on Tuesdays and Fridays. Similarly, Psychiatric clinic has been started with the cooperation of Head of the Department of Psychiatry Hospital Dr Thapa wherein Dr Rakesh Banal M.D Psychiatry, would provide his services on all Fridays. Medical Superintendent Dr Subash Bhagat along with Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr Arun Sharma were present today along with Dr Swarn Katoch Oncologist, Dr Vipan Gupta Endocrinologist & Dr Soodan, Physician will formally start the clinic in room number 317 on second floor of the OPD complex.
